Terms of Use
Last updated: 6 October 2026
These terms apply to the LensLink app for iPhone and iPad and to this website. LensLink is provided by Toni Marence ("I", "me").
Licence
You get LensLink through Apple's App Store. Your licence to use the app is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, together with these terms. If they conflict, Apple's agreement applies.
Purchase and refunds
LensLink is a one-time purchase, sold and billed by Apple. Family Sharing and your other devices on the same Apple ID are covered by Apple's rules. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Using LensLink
- Only film or photograph people with their consent, and follow the laws where you record.
- LensLink connects your own nearby devices directly. Keep them charged, close together and unlocked while filming. Recordings depend on each device's storage, battery and settings.
- Synchronised capture is very precise, but radio links and device performance vary, so exact timing can't be guaranteed in every situation.
- The Sony camera feature uses the camera's Bluetooth remote function. Which models and features work depends on the camera and its firmware.
Liability
I build LensLink with care, but I can't guarantee that it works without errors on every device or in every situation. Please don't rely on LensLink alone for once-in-a-lifetime shots. I'm liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for personal injury. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded as far as the law allows. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.
Trademarks
Apple, iPhone and iPad are trademarks of Apple Inc. Sony and ZV-E10 are trademarks of Sony Group Corporation. LensLink is not affiliated with or endorsed by Sony.
Changes and law
I may update these terms, for example when features change. The current version is always on this page. Austrian law applies, except where the law of your country of residence gives you stronger consumer protection.
